This program will provide managers the tools they need to understand HR-related policies, procedures, and laws from the side of a leader in an organization as opposed to only an employee. The training will cover typical handbook policies that the manager must now implement and monitor. These include policies on at-will employment, equal employment opportunity, disciplinary action, work and break schedule, benefits, business ethics, and harassment to name a few. This interactive program will allow managers an opportunity to practice dealing with real workplace scenarios, giving them hands-on experience with challenging employee situations. This class is designed for new or existing managers who need an overview of HR-related responsibilities in their role.
