National Cancer Survivors Day
Centegra Health System will celebrate National Cancer Survivors Day from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 4, at the Centegra Sage Cancer Center on the campus of Centegra Hospital-McHenry in McHenry. The day will honor cancer survivors, their loved ones and the friends they turn to for help and understanding and serve as a celebration that affirms life can be meaningful and productive for those whose lives are affected by cancer.
Participants will enjoy a garden party in the Cheri Amore Garden of Hope with music from local jazz musicians, refreshments and presentations from cancer survivors. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in therapeutic drumming, expressive arts, pet therapy, chair massages and raffles.
Please register for the free event by calling 877-CENTEGRA (877-236-8347) or visit centegra.org/survivorsday by Friday, June 2.
