Filmmaker Mary Skinner, the daughter of a Polish World War II orphan, spent 7 years making Irena Sendler: In the Name of Their Mothers. The award-winning documentary had its National PBS premiere in 2011 on Holocaust Remembrance Day. Following Ms. Skinner's talk, she will answer audience questions, fulfilling the Creative Living Series as an experience of both inspiration and entertainment. The Creative Living Series is the nation's oldest, independent lecture series bringing distinguished and dynamic speakers to the Woodstock Opera House.
