Social Media Comment Policy
The Woodstock Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry (WACCI) welcomes open and respectful dialogue on our social media platforms. We encourage comments, questions, and conversation that contribute positively to our mission of supporting local businesses and fostering a vibrant, inclusive community.
To maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all, the Chamber reserves the right to hide or delete comments and, if necessary, block users that fall into any of the following categories:

Discrimination or Harassment: Comments that disparage, attack, or demean individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected status.

Hate Speech or Intolerance: Language that promotes exclusion, hostility, or division within our community.

Threats or Incitement: Comments that contain threats of violence, intimidation, or encouragement of unlawful acts.

Obscene or Inappropriate Content: Vulgarity, graphic content, or offensive material.

Off-Topic or Spam: Commercial promotions, repetitive posts, or content unrelated to the Chamber’s mission, programs, or events.

Misinformation: Deliberately false or misleading statements that could harm individuals, businesses, or the community.
The Chamber retains sole discretion in determining what constitutes unacceptable behavior. Freedom of speech allows individuals to express their views, but it does not obligate the Chamber to host harmful or disruptive commentary on our platforms.
