Committees

The Hispanic Connections Committee is a group of business owners, professionals, and community leaders committed to engaging and supporting the Hispanic community of Woodstock and McHenry County. The committee fosters awareness, cultural appreciation, and equity through educational, networking, and celebratory initiatives that highlight Hispanic culture and address community needs.

Participation is open to both Hispanic and non-Hispanic individuals who share a commitment to inclusion, connection, and community impact.

Woodstock Young Professionals is designed for emerging leaders and professionals (typically under age 40) who are looking to build relationships, grow professionally, and get involved in the Woodstock community. The committee hosts social, networking, and professional development opportunities that help young professionals connect with peers while developing leadership skills.

This committee also serves as a pipeline for future Chamber leaders and volunteers.

The Miss Woodstock Committee oversees the Miss Woodstock Scholarship Program, which celebrates leadership, community service, and personal achievement among young women in our community. The committee supports the planning and execution of the annual scholarship competition, fundraising efforts, and community appearances throughout the year.

Committee members play an important role in mentoring participants, supporting scholarship initiatives, and continuing a long-standing Woodstock tradition that invests in future leaders.
